In addition to growing the Late-Stage Venture research process, Mr. Berg focuses on developing relationships with prospective investors and potential portfolio companies.
Prior to Manhattan West, he worked at Polarity Investment Partners where he directed long/short public market investing in technology, industrials, and automation. Mr. Berg has been a research analyst and portfolio manager for the past 20 years for leading hedge funds including York Capital, Lonestar Capital, and Highbridge Capital.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from UCLA and a Masters in International Affairs in International Finance and Business from Columbia University. He served on The Willows Community School Finance Committee and as President of Westside Premier Soccer Club. He lives in Cheviot Hills with his wife, son, and daughter.
