With five years of accounting experience, Ms. Cain began her career in tax before transitioning to fund accounting. She has worked on a diverse range of funds, including fund to funds and real estate, managing NAVs from $0 to $3.5 Billion. At AlterDomus, she played a key role in onboarding and creating process documentation for over 20 fund vehicles. She handled nine fund-of-funds and was responsible for reporting and distributions for more than 20 carry vehicles, gaining experience in legacy funds, shadow books, and international investors and investments.
In her subsequent role at MUFG, the 9th largest bank in the world, Ms. Cain worked on a large real estate fund valued between $2 – $3 Billion. She managed a commingled fund structure with over 50 REITs, focusing on investor financials, reporting, and overseeing cash processes and movements. Additionally, she participated in various pilot programs aimed at testing and implementing new technology and automation in reporting.
Ms. Cain holds a Bachelor of Science in Financial Analysis from California State University, Northridge. Born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah, she now enjoys spending her time in Los Angeles, exploring its many restaurants, museums, and interactive exhibits, or relaxing at home with her kittens.
