Before working in financial services, Orin was an Emmy award-winning broadcast journalist, anchoring television shows and covering news and sporting events for network affiliates around the country.

He spent eight years as a senior advisor at Merrill Lynch, and four years as a vice president in the Wealth and Investment Management division of Barclays.  As a member of the business community, he is a past president of the Association of Corporate Growth (ACG) board of directors in Los Angeles.

Orin has made service to the community a central part of his life and was honored by the California governor’s office proclaiming a day to be named in his honor for his charitable work throughout Central California.

Originally from New York, Orin now resides in Southern California.  He and his wife, Michele, are the parents of two wonderful children. As a family they enjoy swimming (Orin is currently training with a Masters Swim Team), as well as many other outdoor activities. They also enjoy music and the arts and feel lucky to be living in a city that is rich in culture.
