Austin focuses on investment opportunities in the Media, Entertainment, Sports, and Consumer sectors. As an active investor, he leverages his sector experience and industry relationships to create value for the firm’s portfolio companies. He currently serves on the board of The F1 Exhibition, Round Room Live, and Vino Vault. He is also an active board observer for Volo Sports and Good Good Golf.
Prior to joining Manhattan West, Austin worked at Intrepid Investment Bankers, a Los Angeles based investment bank and subsidiary of Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group (MUFG). During his tenure at Intrepid, Austin completed numerous M&A and capital raise transactions across the consumer, digital media, technology, and business services industries.
Austin graduated from Amherst College with a double major in Economics and Psychology, cum laude. At Amherst, he was a senior captain of the Men’s Varsity Ice Hockey team. Growing up in Southern California, Austin enjoys an active outdoor lifestyle – when not in the office, he can be found relaxing at the beach, skiing down a mountain, or on the golf course.
